About Us
American Outdoor Education operates from the last full week of September to the end of May.
We offer three to five-day programs at multiple camps from Arizona to Oregon and throughout California.
Our program runs from Monday through Friday each week, and all classes and activities are led by our trained outdoor education staff.
Natural science and environmental education topics are taught from a stewardship perspective, and subjects covered include: Botany, Ecology, Geology, Astronomy, Exploration, Survival, Sustainability, and outdoor recreation skills.
Our program offers your students an outdoor classroom where we promote an understanding of nature through hands-on experiences, where direct experience and observation provide unique learning opportunities.
